The movie The Hate U Give moved me to tears many times. Amandla Stenberg's emotional role as Starr was convincing.
The scene toward the end of the movie with the little boy and the gun was incredibly moving. I cried till the very end and I couldn't move out of my seat. I watched all the credits as usual and cried.
George Tillman Jr. directed this excellent film and this could be one of his best.
